I'm Mars (any pronouns), a graphic designer and character illustrator with a passion for emotionally driven and character focused visual storytelling.
I currently work at my university's press as a social media manager and book cover designer, creating digital assets, promotional material, and layouts to clearly show information in a creative way. I thrive in taking on any visual projects, from editorial design and branding, to character illustration and web design.
Outside of my work, I am always exploring new mediums, such as digital painting, watercolor, web development, and lately, repurposing old technology! My creative curiosity is what drives me.
I'm currently on track to graduate with a BA in Art and a minor in Anthropology, and a plan to pursue an MFA in Digital Media sometime in the future. My long-term goal is to work in a field that allows me to work as a graphic designer, web developer, and social media manager. I'm especially interested in opportunities that combine storytelling, design systems, and collaborative creative work.
